For older Compact Flash devices such as the Braille Lite, try formatting the cards using the FAT instead of the FAT32 file system. Paula, please let me know how this works for you.

Thanks for your suggestion, regarding my CF card problem. I don’t think I have ever formatted a card with the flash card reader. I have always used the Braille Lite’s Format command. That makes it even stranger that there are files which I cannot access with the Braille Lite, but which are readable with the compact flash reader.
